For the last four years, I’ve realized one of my wildest dreams…

To own and operate a record label and collective, watch it grow, and most importantly to help shine a light on artists that I believe need to be heard and seen. Bite This started from the most humble beginnings and has grown into something beyond what I could’ve hoped for, connecting fans and artists alike around the planet, hosted our artists on tours and festival stage takeovers, and created a true family and collective. That being said, we’re still at the very beginning of our journey and I have so many dreams and goals for us as a label to achieve. Today, one of those dreams is becoming a reality.

Introducing Bite This Now - a subsidiary of our main label dedicated to bringing the future of music to artists and fans, right now. Bite This Now was created to help pave a path towards the future of what I believe all record labels will become in a not-so-distant future, taking the method I developed to get the Jauz project to where it is today and embracing the impulsiveness and virality of the internet to empower us as artists, fans, and labels alike.

Here’s exactly what that means: at Bite This Now, we’ve stripped back everything to the core of why I wanted to start a record label in the first place - put out a ton of music, for free, as fast as possible, for as many people as humanly possible. The emphasis is on the “Now” - if we accept your submission, your song could be released in as little as 3 days from acceptance. Not only that, but all music released on Bite This Now will be completely DMCA free - empowering the most popular content creators around the world to use your music for their streams, YouTube videos, etc. with zero issues. Initially, when your song is released, it will follow the same release plan I used to make the Jauz project into what it is today: simply upload it to Soundcloud and YouTube, and spread it as far across the planet as we possibly can - and that’s pretty far. Bite This Now has a network of content creators, streamers, etc. that will have direct access to playlists of every song released to have on constant rotation for their streams, to use in their videos, and so on - one big video, stream, or Tik Tok could turn your song from just another release into the most important song of your career. We’ve also partnered with Twitch Soundtrack so that every Bite This Now release will automatically be available to every streamer on Twitch’s platform. Long story short, your song is released the second you want it out to the world, and the only thing stopping your song from being the next big viral hit is the quality of the song itself.

Periodically, all tracks released on Bite This Now will be packaged into a Compilation Album that will then be serviced to the DSP’s (Spotify, Apple Music, Beatport, etc.). So not only will you be able to release your song as fast as you want and for free, but you’ll also get the perks of a standard commercial release and receive royalties for it. Everything about Bite This Now is artist-focused, the way it should be.
